PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a frequency characteristic of an antenna device equipped with an AMC reflection board.SOLUTION: An antenna device has a dipole antenna 2 as a radiator and an AMC reflection board 10 formed of many patch elements 4 and a bottom board 6 as a reflector. The patch elements 4 constituting the AMC reflection board 10 consist of a plurality of types of patch elements with different values set for at least one of element size (length of a side: w) and pitch to an adjacent patch element (g). As a result, a frequency characteristic of the antenna device can be widen by dispersing a resonant frequency of the patch elements 4 into a plurality of frequencies within a desired frequency band.
