<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that can suppress an outflow of a lubricant, and an image forming apparatus including the fixing device.SOLUTION: In a fixing unit 6 including an endless belt 20 that makes circular movement, a halogen lamp 32 that is arranged behind the endless belt 20, and a nip plate 33 that faces the halogen lamp 32 to be in contact with the inner surface of the endless belt 20, the endless belt 20 has lower edges 20C of both ends in the horizontal direction located above a lower edge 20D at the center in the horizontal direction. With this configuration, a lubricant heated to have high fluidity is collected at the center in the horizontal direction of the lower end part of the endless belt 20, so as to suppress an outflow of the lubricant from both ends in the horizontal direction of the endless belt 20 to the outside.</p> |
