<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire rubber composition comprising heat-expansible microcapsules, the rubber composition having an improved level of on-ice frictional performance.SOLUTION: The rubber composition is characterized in that 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber is blended with 3-30 pts.wt. of master batch comprising heat-expansible microcapsules and thermoplastic elastomer. The thermoplastic elastomer has a structure represented by S-R-S (S is a segment comprising a styrene polymer and R is a segment comprising a polymer or copolymer comprising at least one monomer selected from ethylene, propylene, butylene, isoprene and butadiene) and also has a rubber hardness of 0-50.</p> |
