PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive curved touch panel which integrates a top panel using a transparent resin material with a housing of a curved surface shape without the need for work to bond the housing and the touch panel together, thereby achieving both thinning and weight saving.SOLUTION: A capacitive curved touch panel comprises: a transparent panel substrate 2 formed of a transparent resin base material 2a; a decorative printed layer 5 formed on the outer edge part of the back surface of the transparent panel substrate 2; a step prevention layer 7 formed of a transparent resin material which is formed flat extending from an inner side of the decorative printed layer 5 on a back surface of the transparent panel substrate 2 on which the decorative printed layer 5 is formed, to a back surface of the decorative printed layer 5; a sensor part 10 formed of a transparent electrode layer 8 which is formed on a back surface of the step prevention layer 7; a transparent protective film 9 formed to cover the whole of the sensor part 10 except a thermocompression-bonding region for an external connection substrate; a the capacitive curved touch panel substrate heat-molded to a predetermined curved surface shape; and the external connection substrate 11 thermocompression-bonded to the thermocompression-bonding region of the sensor part 10 of the capacitive curved touch panel substrate. |
