<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate forming method, a laminate polishing method, and a laminate forming device which are capable of efficiently polishing a glass substrate and further are capable of providing an information recording medium glass substrate having improved strength.SOLUTION: A first transport part CR1 controls a first vertical shaft VS1, a first actuator AC1, and a first horizontal shaft HS1 so that a finger part FG is opened slightly wider than an outer diameter of a glass substrate GS, is put into a stocker SC, is closed to grip an outer peripheral end surface 12 of one glass substrate GS, retreats from a holding shaft HSF, is rotationally moved to insert a hole of the glass substrate GS to a main shaft MSF, is lowered to place the glass substrate GS on a spacer SP, is opened, and retreats again. At this time, foreign matters do not deposit on principal surfaces 14 and 15 of the glass substrate GS because they do not come into contact with the finger part FG.</p> |
