<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane type compressor capable of eliminating a departure mechanism (or a backpressure structure) from the rotor of a vane and making a backpressure management unnecessary.SOLUTION: A vane type compressor comprises a rocking vane 5 rotatably supported at a terminal end part (or a columnar part) at a pivotal part (or an arcuate recess) formed in the outer circumference wall of a rotor 4 and abutting at a leading end part against a cam face 2a formed on the inner circumference of a cylinder 2, thereby to define a compression chamber 17 between the outer circumference of the rotor 4 and the cam face 2a. The leading end part of the rocking vane 5 is arranged in the rotational direction of the rotor 4 forward of a virtual face containing the axial center of a drive shaft 3 and the rotation center of the columnar part.</p> |
