<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress difference in hue by unit of head column corresponding to the respective head blocks, which is generated in a color image to be formed by two overlapped colors by deviation of fitting positions of the head blocks constituting a line head.SOLUTION: A color image is read from a test-printed print sheet, and solid image parts on both sides sandwiching a joint of two head blocks of a line head are considered as color difference correction object areas. When there is color difference between pixel parts corresponding the respective head blocks located on both side of the joint, the increment correction content of the number of discharged drops of ink droplets of a dominant color with a larger number of dots is generated as correction profile data by unit of correction unit lattice obtained by dividing one pixel part into a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction. The number of discharged drops of the ink droplets of the dominant color is corrected by using the generated correction profile data when the ink droplets of the dominant color is discharged to a pixel part corresponding to one head block in the color difference correction object areas.</p> |
