PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact rotary tool capable of further precisely measuring fastening torque, and a control device of the impact rotary tool.SOLUTION: An impact mechanism 20 generates pulse-like impact force from the rotations of a rotary shaft 11 of a motor 10. A tool for carrying out screw fastening work is installed to an output shaft 26, and the impact mechanism 20 is rotated by the generated impact force. A torque sensor 30 measures torque applied on the output shaft 26. An acceleration sensor 40 measures acceleration in a circumferential direction of the output shaft 26. A torque computing portion 60 obtains fastening torque on the basis of the inertial torque of the output shaft 26 and the tool obtained from a torque measurement value by the torque sensor 30 and an acceleration measurement value by the acceleration sensor 40.
