PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the performance degradation of a pressure regulator provided in an anode gas tank.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 includes a plurality of tanks 311-314 for supplying anode gas to a fuel cell 2, and a plurality of pressure regulators 311a-314a provided, respectively, in the plurality of tanks 311-314 and filling the tanks with anode gas or supplying anode gas thereto. The fuel cell system 1 includes a gas passageway 20 connected with the plurality of pressure regulators 311a-314a, respectively, and passing the anode gas of each tank, and a pressure regulator control section 5 for controlling each pressure regulator 311a-314a so as to open the plurality of tanks 311-314 in the ascending order of internal pressure, when starting the fuel cell 2. |
