PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of improving quality of a blade, a blade unit, and a method of manufacturing the developing device.SOLUTION: The developing device includes a developing roller, a blade 41 proximal to the developing roller, and a support member 42 supporting the blade 41. The blade 41 and the support member 42 are welded at least in both end parts in a lengthwise direction of the blade 41. A maximum value of a size W2 in a breadthwise direction of the blade 41 in outside end parts in the lengthwise direction of the blade 41, of welding marks 43A and 44A formed on the blade 41 or the support member 42 is 0.8 to 1.2 times as large as a maximum value of a size W1 in the breadthwise direction of the blade 41 in center parts in the lengthwise direction of the blade 41. |
