PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral magnetic flux dynamo-electric machine with small cogging torque, and a vehicle using the same.SOLUTION: A lateral magnetic flux dynamo-electric machine includes a stator including an annular winding wound about the rotating shaft in a rotational direction, and a plurality of first ferromagnetic bodies provided at predetermined intervals in the rotational direction, each surrounding a part of the winding, and a rotor provided with a predetermined cavity for the first ferromagnetic bodies, and rotatable about the rotating shaft. The rotor includes a plurality of second ferromagnetic bodies provided at predetermined intervals in the rotational direction, and a magnetic field forming section forming a magnetic field in the rotational direction between the adjoining second ferromagnetic bodies. |
