The basic information of the log-off user is transmitted to the information terminal 6 after the address of the information terminal 6 and the telephone number of the telephone terminal 5 are deleted. In accordance with a log-in/log-off operation of the user, the information terminal 6 transmits a log-in/log-off request to the basic information management server function part 3, receives the basic information and registers presence information including the basic information into a presence information management server function part 4. Upon receiving the update information from the basic information management server function part 3, the presence information including the basic information updated by the update information is registered in the presence information management server function part 4.
