PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an absorptive spherical silicone-based rubber particle having soft feeling and properties for adding soft focus effects or the like and absorbing water in cosmetic materials.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing an absorptive spherical silicone-based rubber particle having a monovalent polyoxy alkylene group and a bivalent polyoxy alkylene group bound to a silicon atom including processes: (i) addition reacting (A) organohydrogen polysiloxane and (B) polyoxyalkylene which a monovalent olefinic unsaturated group is bound to a terminal, by using (D) a platinum group metal catalyst; (ii) mixing the obtained addition reactant, (C) polyoxy alkylene which the monovalent olefinic unsaturated groups are bound to both terminals and (E) water to obtain a dissolved liquid product of them; (iii) adding (F) a dispersant and (G) a solution insoluble to the obtained dissolved liquid product to disperse it in the (G) component; and (iv) addition reacting the resultant by using the (D) component to cure it to a rubbery state. |
