PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card insertion/removal notification device configured to prompt a user to insert/remove a card at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A card insertion/removal notification device issues an instruction to notify a user to discharge a card and insert it again when communication failures with the card has been detected more than a predetermined number of times, and stops notification to prompt the user to discharge and reinsert the card when discharge and insertion of the card is detected, to prompt the user to insert/remove the card at an appropriate timing. When a conduction failure to be easily eliminated by user's card removal/insertion occurs, the user can eliminate the failure quickly by him or herself without troubling a manufacturer or a dealer, thereby improving convenience. |
