PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display which is mounted on the head of a user to display various information together with a field of view of the user, and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: A head-mounted display (HMD) determines whether a user of the head-mounted display is moving or not, images an area in a line-of-sight direction of the user, and processes the captured image when the user is determined to be moving. Consequently, a car-window mode which indicates that the user is seeing the landscape through a car window or an indoor mode which indicates that the user is seeing the inside of the car is selected as a user mode. According to the selected user mode, information to be displayed on a display screen of the HMD is controlled. |
