<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a glass substrate having good quality and less variation in glass composition.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a glass substrate includes a melting step of a melting grass raw material at least containing an aluminum source to make molten glass of 1520-1620°C. As the aluminum source, at least aluminium oxide is contained. The aluminium oxide has the average grain diameter of 50-200μm, and contains the grain diameter of 38μm or less in the ratio of 15% or less.</p> |
