PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration of CSI-RS capable of coping with the extended number of antenna ports.SOLUTION: A base station for communicating with a mobile station by using a plurality of antenna ports includes: a mapping information notification unit for generating mapping of reference signals for channel state information measurement regarding the plurality of antenna ports by combining mapping of the reference signals for channel state information measurement defined for antenna ports the number of which is equal to or less than a predetermined number in a resource block, and for notifying the mobile station of information indicating the generated mapping; a multiplexing unit for multiplexing the reference signals for channel state information measurement according to the generated mapping on a resource element in the resource block; and a transmission unit for transmitting the reference signals for channel state information measurement.
