PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio access point capable of efficient and power-saving operation.SOLUTION: A radio access point 3 radio communicating with a radio slave unit 5 includes: a radio transmission/reception unit 11 for transmitting and receiving radio frames to/from the radio slave unit 5; a communication speed detection unit 12 for detecting radio communication speed information included in a radio frame transmitted from the radio slave unit 5; and a power saving mode management unit 13 for controlling a plurality of operation modes having different power consumption. The radio transmission/reception unit 11 sets a radio communication speed on the basis of the radio communication speed information. The power saving mode management unit 13 sets the plurality of operation modes to be smaller power consumption as the radio communication speed is lower. |
