PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a porous block for planting, having mechanical strength and rigidity for use in various forms including a self-supporting vertical wall, regardless of having a light weight, high water permeability and high water-holding capacity due to use of resin foam as aggregate.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes the steps of: kneading a ground product 41 of resin foam and a mortar 42 of cement and water as binding agent; injecting the kneaded product 40 into a cavity 62B of a mold; applying pressure to the mold 63 such that the cavity 62B compresses the mixture 40 to have a predetermined volume; holding the volume of the cavity 62 over a period necessary for completion of curing the mortar 42 of cement and water; and taking out a cured and molded porous block for planting 50 from inside the molds 61, 62 and 63. |
