PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for cost reduction of a curved image sensor.SOLUTION: A pedestal for curving is configured to be curved in concave shape in the center, while leaving some ends. The pedestal for curving is divided into five parts, i.e., an element arranging part, and four peripheral parts. The element arranging part is formed in porous. The pore (bubble) in the porous shape is smaller than the pixel size. A ceramic, metallic, or resin-based porous material is used. The disclosure is applicable to CMOS solid state image sensor for use in an imaging apparatus. |
