PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive assist apparatus which can reduce discomfort given to a driver by running control on the basis of vehicle speed learned using vehicle speed data, while restraining an amount of the vehicle speed data used for learning.SOLUTION: A drive assist apparatus 1 performs drive assist on the basis of learned vehicle speed. The drive assist apparatus 1 comprises: storages 20, 41 which store vehicle speeds for a plurality of times about each position on a running route using vehicle speeds which are acquired when a driver drives a vehicle by acceleration and deceleration operations; a first learning unit 42 which learns a first learned vehicle speed at a position when at the position, a variation in multiple vehicle speeds is less than a threshold; a second learning unit 43 which learns a second learned vehicle speed at a position in a set range before the learned position; and running controllers 30, 31 and 45 which perform running control on the basis of a current position at which the vehicle runs, the first learned vehicle speed and the second learned vehicle speed. |
