<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically delete a recorded program by learning the user's tendency to delete recorded programs.SOLUTION: A deletion schedule management part (168) groups recorded programs being managed by a program management table (168) regarding predetermined items. For each group, an average holding time from recording of a deleted recording program to the deletion of the program is calculated on the basis of the date of recording, the date of reproduction and the date of deletion of the program. On the basis of the average holding time, a holding time of a non-deleted recorded program is determined, and a deletion schedule of the recorded program is registered in the program management table (168). A deletion execution part (165) refers to the program management table (168) and deletes the recorded program of which the deletion schedule has passed.</p> |
