<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that enables suppression of a lubricant agent from being leaked from ends of a fixing belt.SOLUTION: A fixing device 100 includes: an endless fixing belt 110 that is rotatable; a heat generator that is arranged inside the fixing belt 110, and adapted so as to generate heat inside the fixing belt 110; a nip plate 130 that is arranged inside the fixing belt 110 with the nip plate spaced at an interval from the heating generator; and a pressure roller 150 that sandwiches the fixing belt 110 between the nip plate 130 and the pressure roller. The nip plate 130 has a sliding contact surface 131 that is capable of contacting with an inner peripheral surface 111 of the fixing belt 110 via grease G (lubricant agent), and on both ends at least in a width direction of the fixing belt 110, the sliding contact surface 131 has a groove 132 one by one extending along a movement direction of the fixing belt 110 between the sliding contact surface 131 and the pressure roller 150.</p> |
