<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in an image forming apparatus including a fixing device having a conveyance roller pair with metallic rollers provided on the downstream side of a fixing nip part in the conveyance direction of a recording material, water vapor generated from the recording material is condensed on the metallic rollers during fixation processing, which leads to the occurrence of image defects.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus including an air-blowing member for cooling a non-feeding area of a recording material of a fixing unit, and a duct for introducing the air from the air-blowing member to the non-feeding area of the fixing unit, where the duct includes a first opening for sending the air to cool the non-feeding area of the fixing unit, and a second opening for sending the air to exhaust the air around metallic rollers to the outside of the fixing unit.</p> |
