PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyester resin composition containing little white foreign matter and having excellent hydrolysis resistance, using an economical and energy-saving continuous type polycondensation reaction apparatus without performing solid phase polymerization.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a polyester resin composition containing a phosphoric acid alkali metal salt by a continuous type polycondensation apparatus. To a polyester resin composition after a polycondensation reaction and in a molten state, 0.65 to 3.27 mol/ton of a powdery phosphoric acid alkali metal salt is added and the mixture is kneaded using a biaxial kneader having a vent hole.
