PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot, a robot control method, and a robot control program that are capable of effectively guiding the line of sight of a person receiving guidance.SOLUTION: A robot includes: an indicator for pointing a direction; a driving unit for driving the indicator; a moving unit for moving a body part to which the driving unit is mounted; and a control unit for controlling the driving unit so that, when the indicator is made to indicate a direction of an object, at least a part of the indicator extends on a straight line connecting a predetermined point on the body part and a position of the object.
