<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving convenience, reliability, performance and the like in situations in which the size of an individual file system and a capacity of a storage device tend to increase.SOLUTION: A computer system of the present invention includes: a plurality of file systems 3 configured by using a plurality of storage devices 4; and a virtual file system 2 providing an interface that enables each of upper-level applications 1 to access the lower-level file systems 3 as a management target to read/write files with the file systems 3 assumed as one virtual file system. The virtual file system 2 manages information on virtual file paths for file accesses, utilization states of capacities of the respective file systems 3 and the like, and writes a file to any file system 3 a free space of which is equal to or higher than a threshold in response to a file access.</p> |
