<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent generation of paper wrinkle, defects such as paper jam or the like due to a peripheral velocity difference between a drum and a press roller without provision of a preliminary rolling mechanism for the press roller and to suppress decrease of productivity during printing to the utmost.SOLUTION: A stencil printer includes: a drum 31 around which a made-up master M is wound; a press roller 32 for pressing a print sheet P onto the master M wound around the drum 31; a motor 34 for rotating the drum 31 at a predetermined number of rotations; and a control part 70 for controlling the number of rotations of the drum 31 by the motor 34 and so on. The control part 70 executes a speed restriction printing in such a manner that printing is performed while rotating the drum 31 at number of rotations less than predetermined number of rotations during at least one print sheet P is printed from a printing start time every printing job, and thereafter, printing is performed while gradually increasing number of rotations of the drum 31 until the number reaches the predetermined number.</p> |
