<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which can quickly move in a place with rubble, level differences, and the like as well as in ordinary moving, and also to provide members for improving a regular wheelchair to such a wheelchair.SOLUTION: In a wheelchair 1 of the present invention, the front direction when a care needed person sits down is made a forward direction, with the rear direction made a backward direction, and with the lateral direction in facing the front direction made a width direction. In this state, a pair of grip bars 21, 21 separated from each other in the width direction are extended backward from backward frames 15, 15. When a caregiver comes in between the pair of grip bars 21, 21, the grip bars 21, 21 are provided with enough length to be extended further backward from the position of the caregiver. As a result, the caregiver can make the wheelchair tractive backward, with the pair of grip bars 21, 21 gripped, which is the characteristic of the invention.</p> |
