PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a translated character string even after a translation of the character string included in a picked-up image is displayed.SOLUTION: A character string modification display control part (12) modifies and displays a part showing a character string of a picked-up image, a translation image generation part (13) generates a translation image showing the result of translation of the character string into another language, and a translation display control part (16) switches ON/OFF a display of the translation image according to the input from a user.
