PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic device having an acoustic matching layer capable of excellently preventing cross talk while being brought into close contact with a vibration film.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic device includes an acoustic matching layer 54 formed on an ultrasonic transducer element. A wall part 44 is arranged between the adjacent ultrasonic transducer elements. The wall part 44 separates the acoustic matching layers 54 on the adjacent ultrasonic transducer elements from each other. The wall part 44 includes acoustic impedance larger than the acoustic impedance of the acoustic matching layer 54.
