PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase in the number of patches printed for acquiring color values indicating a plurality of colors to be printed.SOLUTION: A processor is provided with an estimation unit for estimating the luminosity of a virtual patch using measurement values of the luminosity of a plurality of first mixed color patches; measurement values of the luminosity of a plurality of first single color patches; a measurement value of the luminosity of a specific first mixed color patch printed using N kinds of color materials in a same quantity ofβ; and a measurement value of the luminosity of a specific first single color patch printed using one kind of a color material in the amount ofβamong the plurality of single color patches. Each of the plurality of first mixed color patches is printed using the N kinds of color materials in a same quantity, and each of the plurality of first single color patches is printed using one of the N kinds of color materials. The virtual patch is a patch to be printed by using (N-1) kinds of color materials among the N kinds in a same quantity ofα, and the rest of one kind among the N kinds of materials in the quantity ofβ.
