<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mailbox unit easy to uniformly illuminate a nameplate in a longitudinal direction and also enabling illumination of the inside of a posting box.SOLUTION: A mailbox 100 includes a posting box 1 with a posting slot 12 set to the front surface thereof, a lighting device 2 which is set to the posting box 1, and a name plate 6 which is set to the upper part of the posting box 1. The name plate 6 is made of a translucent member having an incident surface 61 on its lower end surface 60 and a reflection part 63 on its back surface 62. The lighting device 2 includes an LED light 30 forming a light source 3 set inside the posting box 1, and a light guiding member 4. The light guiding member 4 is disposed so that the longitudinal direction is parallel to the horizontal direction of the posting box 1, and is structured so that light emitted from the light source 3 is taken inside from longitudinal one end thereof, and the taken-in light is output toward the name plate 6 at the upper part of the posting box 1 and toward the inside of the posting box 1.</p> |
