摘要 The present invention relates to a stern structure for changing a cross current force to a propulsive force when a sail yacht goes straight and performs tacking. The sail yacht is propelled by wind power obtained by a sail moving in accordance with the direction of wind and fixated on a hull; and has a double chine formed on both sides of the hull and extended from a point on one third to one fourth of the total length of the hull toward the stern. The double chine includes: a first chine becoming wider from the point on one third to one fourth of the total length of the hull toward the stern, formed in the vertical direction of the hull, and concaved in the mixed form of various curvatures; and a second chine becoming wider from the point on the one third of the total length of the first chine toward the stern, formed in the vertical direction of the hull, and concaved in the mixed form of various curvatures. Accordingly, the stern structure is provided to allow a sail yacht to go straight and perform tacking by changing a cross current force to a propulsive force. The stern structure is capable of reducing a cross current force and increasing a propulsive force without a separate complex additional device by the improvement of the shape of the hull.
