PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner enabling enhancement of operating capacity without generating an overcurrent when performing control by combining air currents having different temperatures blown out from a plurality of blowout ports.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: an indoor unit 20 having a main fan 265 for sending air that has passed through a heat exchanger and a side fan 266 (sub fan) for sending air that is not made to pass through the heat exchanger to at least one of both sides of the main fan 265; and an outdoor unit 40 having a compressor 43 that compresses a refrigerant in a refrigeration circuit and of which rotational frequency can be controlled. The air conditioner further includes: an electric current detection section 493 for detecting an electric current value consumed by the outdoor unit 40; an indoor unit control section 21 for controlling the side fan 266; and an outdoor unit control section 46 for controlling the compressor 43. The indoor unit control section 21 or the outdoor unit control section 46 changes an electric current limit value that can be used by the outdoor unit 40 in accordance with the rotational frequency of the side fan 266. |
