PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device for knee protection which can be simply loaded on a vehicle without generating abnormal noise even when there is an assembly error between a vehicle body side member and an indoor side panel.SOLUTION: An airbag device for knee protection comprises: a case 20 which stores and holds an airbag 10 and an inflator 12; and an airbag cover 35 which covers an opening 20a of the case, and has door parts 37, 38 which open by being pressed by the expanding airbag, and is loaded on the front side of the knees of a crew member by fitting the case to a vehicle side member. The cover 35 comprises: a door arrangement wall part 36 which has the door parts; and a sidewall part 51 which is coupled to the case. In the door arrangement wall part, an outer peripheral edge 40 is positioned to an indoor side panel 8 which is arranged in front of crew members in the surroundings in loading. The sidewall part of the cover and the case are firmly coupled to each other by regulating positional deviation. The sidewall part of the cover comprises a bend part 71 which bends so as to absorb the positional deviation between the case and the door arrangement wall part between a fastening part 56 with the case and a coupled part 65 with the door arrangement wall part. |
