PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable avoiding deterioration in communication quality due to a probe signal.SOLUTION: A communication control method is used in a mobile communication system that includes a macro cell and an ES cell having coverage at least partly overlapping with coverage of the macro cell, the macro cell and the ES cell belonging to the same frequency band. The communication control method includes: step A of the ES cell transmitting a probe signal capable of identifying the ES cell in a probe period for searching for a UE 100 in the vicinity of the ES cell; and step B of the macro cell performing downlink communication with a UE 100 connecting with the macro cell in the probe period. In the step A, the ES cell transmits the probe signal using specific downlink radio resources learned by the macro cell. In the step B, the macro cell avoids using radio resources corresponding to the specific downlink radio resources.
