PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overheat and the damage of a switch element for power factor improvement and harmonic restraint.SOLUTION: Switching pattern data corresponding to an input current value is selected. Based on the selected switching pattern data, each MOS FET in a converter is switched on and off. Subsequently, the selected pattern data is successively corrected to a direction to improve a power factor, and based on the corrected switching pattern data, each MOS FET is switched on and off. When a difference between both input currents is equal to or larger than a threshold, the output frequency of an inverter is decreased. |
