PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress tilting of heating units to shaft lines of rotors.SOLUTION: A fixing device 100 comprises: a heating unit 101 that has a heat generator; a rotor (pressure roller 150) that faces the heating unit 101; an urging mechanism 500 that urges the heating unit 101 toward the rotor; a pair of shaft bearings 400 that rotatably supports on both ends of the rotor; and a frame 200 that has a pair of side walls 220. Each side wall 220 has: a first wall part 221 that supports the shaft bearings 400; and a pair of second wall parts 222 that protrudes toward a heating unit side from the first wall part 221, and movably supports the heating unit 101 with the heating unit 101 sandwiched. The heating unit 101 has an alignment member 310 that extends from a heating unit 101 side toward the shaft bearing 400, and is engaged with the shaft bearing 400. Since the alignment member 310 is engaged with the shaft bearing 400, the heating unit 101 is aligned with respect to the shaft bearing 400. |
