<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a length detection reel of which the reduction of detection accuracy can be suppressed without using a bearing by suppressing swing of a drum shaft.SOLUTION: A first fitting hole 32 which is opened to the side opposite to the projecting side of a drum shaft 31 and is formed concentrically with the drum shaft is fitted to a fixed shaft 21 of a first substrate so as to be rotatable relative to the first substrate, and the drum shaft is inserted to an insertion hole 41 of a second substrate 4 so as to be rotatable relative to the second substrate 4, and thus the drum 3 is provided between the first substrate and the second substrate. A sun gear 51 of the planetary gear mechanism 5 has a fitting shaft 51a fitted to a second fitting hole 33 which is opened to the projecting side of the drum shaft and is formed concentrically with the drum shaft, so as to be rotated in accordance with rotation of the drum, and a planetary gear 53 of the planetary gear mechanism, which decelerates and transmits torque to a swivel seat 7 on which a rotation information generation member 6 is installed, via a deceleration mechanism 9 is engaged with internal teeth of an annular part 52 provided on the second substrate and the sun gear.</p> |
