<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic gap adjustment work accompanying abrasion of a brake disc, and great improvement in maintenance workability.SOLUTION: A gap adjustment mechanism 47 is provided between a brake housing 34 and a brake movable element 36 for automatically adjusting a gap when each of rotation-side brake discs 37 and non-rotation-side brake discs 38 is worn. The gap adjustment mechanism 47 includes: a ring member 48 provided between the brake housing 34 and the brake movable element 36; a spring 49 urging the ring member 48 so as to rotate the ring member 48 in one direction within the brake housing 34; and a movable-element moving mechanism 50 axially moving the brake movable element 36 toward each of the brake discs 37 and 38 when the ring member 48 rotates in one direction relative to the brake movable element 36.</p> |
