<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of friction with a cylinder and increase of oil consumption well balanced.SOLUTION: A piston ring 108 is mounted to a peripheral groove 104c which is provided in the outer peripheral surface 104b of a piston 104 reciprocating in a cylinder 102. The piston ring comprises a ring body part 130 which has a joint 140 and is formed in an annular shape, and an engagement member 132 which is engaged with the ring body part 130 and deforms by pressure change of a combustion chamber 120 in the cylinder 102 to suppress deformation in the radial direction of the ring body part 130 caused by the pressure change of the combustion chamber 120 in the cylinder 102.</p> |
