PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid such a situation where viewer convenience is deteriorated in a next-generation terrestrial broadcasting system.SOLUTION: A transmission device 10 includes: an OFDM frame structure part 10H which is configured to generate an OFDM frame corresponding to an inputted signal on the basis of an inputted segment bandwidth and an FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) size; and a transmission part 10L configured to transmit a transmission signal which is generated by applying predetermined processing to the generated OFDM frame. A length of the OFDM frame generated by the OFDM structure part 10H is a fixed length that is specified for each guard interval length to be added.
