PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize simple excessive pressure preventive means of a crank chamber which does not increase weight and cost, and does not cause the damage of a structure configuring a pressurization type booster compressor.SOLUTION: A compression chamber p is formed by a cylinder 12, a cylinder head 14, and a piston 16 reciprocating in the cylinder 12. Rotations of an output shaft 28a of an electric motor 28 reciprocates the piston 16 through a crank shaft 24. A sealed crank chamber c is defined in the inside of a crank case 18. A pressurised gas supply pipe 38 is provided, which respectively supplies pressurized compressed gas to the compression chamber p and the crank chamber c. The crank case 18 is composed of a hollow cylindrical body 20, and an end plate 22 facing outward. A low strength wall 50A (a partition wall having lower strength than other partition walls) which is broken by the allowable upper limit pressure of the crank chamber c is formed on the end plate 22. |
