PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional film which is obtained by alternately laminating an organic layer and an inorganic layer and stably exhibits intended performance without damages of the inorganic layer and the like at a low cost and to provide a method for producing the functional film.SOLUTION: There is provided a functional film which comprises an organic layer and an inorganic layer alternately formed on a substrate, a support adhered to a rear surface of the support via an adhesive layer and a transporting support having different thermal characteristics, wherein the adhesive force between the adhesive layer and the support is 5 to 50 N/25 mm, the adhesive force between the adhesive layer and the transporting support is 0.01 to 1 N/25 mm and an organic layer and an inorganic layer are alternately formed on the surface of the support while transporting a long laminate of the support, the adhesive layer and the transporting support in the longitudinal direction. |
