PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene-based sealing material sheet for solar cell module subjected to cross-linking by irradiation with ionization radiation, which has both heat resistance and molding characteristics.SOLUTION: A method of producing a sealing material sheet includes a sheet formation step for forming a multilayer sheet by laminating an intermediate layer 11 composed of a sealing material composition for the intermediate layer, and an outermost layer 12 composed of a sealing material composition for the outermost layer, and a crosslinking step performing crosslinking by irradiating the multilayer sheet with ionization radiation. The sealing material composition for the outermost layer contains a base resin for the outermost layer composed of a polyethylene resin having a density of 0.870 or more and 0.970 g/cmor less, and an adhesive copolymer resin. The MFR of the adhesive copolymer resin after crosslinking step is larger than the MFR of the base resin for the outermost layer. |
