PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walk route information provision apparatus, a walk route information provision method, a route information provision method, and a program, which provide route information for supporting a user to accomplish the purpose of a movement.SOLUTION: A walk route information provision apparatus includes: an acquisition part for acquiring search condition information and walk purpose information; a map information storage part for storing map information; walk route candidate search part for searching for plural candidates for walk route on the basis of the search condition information and walk purpose information; a purpose accomplishment contribution-degree information storage part for storing purpose accomplishment contribution-degree information correlating a position with a purpose accomplishment contribution-degree; a purpose accomplishment-degree calculation part for calculating a purpose accomplishment-degree for each candidate of walk route on the basis of the purpose accomplishment contribution-degree information; a walk route selection part for selecting a walk route to be provided to a user, from among the candidates for walk route on the basis of the purpose accomplishment-degree; and a provision part for providing walk route information showing the walk route.
