<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of extracting a peak signal of a person present near a vehicle.SOLUTION: Provided is a radar device equipped with extraction means for extracting a peak signal obtained from a difference frequency between a transmitted signal whose frequency changes in a prescribed cycle and a received signal in which a transmitted wave based on the transmitted signal and reflected at a target is received, the peak signal being extracted in a first period in which the frequency of the transmitted signal rises and a second period in which the frequency declines, wherein the difference frequency is divided into a plurality of frequency domains and the extraction means extracts the peak signal by a method differing for each of the frequency domains.</p> |
