PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel reinforcement method capable of securing a stable quality as well as reinforcing a tunnel in a short period of time, and a steel segment piece lifting device and a steel segment piece used in the tunnel reinforcement method.SOLUTION: A tunnel reinforcement method includes: a steel segment reinforcement body constructing step for assembling a plurality of steel segment pieces 2 manufactured in advance, on the inner side of a wall part 11 of an existing tunnel 1, and constructing a steel segment reinforcement body 3 having an approximately circular arc-shape when viewed from the axis direction of the tunnel; and a grout material filling step for filling grout material 5 between the wall part 11 of the tunnel 1 and the steel segment reinforcement body 3.
