<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing that can achieve initial fitness earlier than before, suppress progress of wear with a ceramic member, and rotate a roll stably by suppressing its vibration.SOLUTION: There is provided a bearing which rotatably supports the shaft of a roll dipped in a molten metal plating bath. The bearing includes: a partially cylindrical ceramic member; a metallic holder having a groove for supporting an outer peripheral surface of the ceramic member; and a partially cylindrical metallic cover which covers an inner peripheral surface of the ceramic member, the inner peripheral surface of the cover being opposed to the shaft, and the cover having a side plate for fixation to the holder at both axial ends.</p> |
